My Happy Place

My happy place is a golf course in Ooltewah, Tennessee. The Honors Course is consistently rated one of the top 100 courses in the nation. I have always gone here to practice, to think, and mostly just to get away from life and focus on small things. This is the place where I practiced my game so that I was able to become good enough to play division I golf. There is no better place in the world to be than here for me. This place is hard to find and even harder to get into if you are not a member. It was designed to be so private that the owner bought the surrounding land on all sides so that not a single house could be developed within view of the course.


The white boundary is the edge of the golf course. My happy place may cover quite a few acres but I have never felt more at home anywhere else.
